1.5 oz Zacapa Edición Negra Rum
1 tsp Date Syrup
1 dash Orange Bitters
2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
1. In a mixing glass, add the date syrup and bitters.
2. Fill the glass with ice and add Zacapa Edición Negra.
3. Stir to mix and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass.
4. Add orange peel for garnish.
Zacapa Rum
Zacapa Edición Negra is made of a blend of rums between 6 and 24 years old and is inspired by the natural elements of Guatemala including the dark fire of its volcanoes. Edición Negra is aged in select barrels including double charred American oak casks, creating a rich, dark rum with a smoky intensity. Edición Negra is best served neat or on the rocks and provides a smoky twist to your dark spirits classic cocktails.
Zacapa Rum is made using the first press of virgin sugar cane and aged using the Sistema Solera method, crafted by our Master Blender Lorena Vásquez. Discover the flavor of Zacapa through each of our variants.
